I have a sketch class today, and we need to finish this piece in the 4 hr class, which is terrifying because of this goddam glass bottle and this goddam shadowing thing:)) Anyway, I try my best but I think I should imorove this when I have more time!! (especially the bottle part)

Well, my teacher did compliment my plastic bag (left one), so I guess I did okay!!

When I was too bored and frequently checked my tatoo (it's quite new, I have it last month), I saw these two! the right one is PM's flaming pie and the left one is my dear friend mosquito's work, we had a GOOD time last weekend at青草湖, quite cute, love this pairing... tatoo

After class, I went to SUSHIRO with my roommate, SUSHIRO IS KAMI AND CORN GUNKAN MAKI KAMITERU!(shitty English and Japanese because爽,爽is how we describe the best feeling in the world in Mandarin)

I did have pressure these days because of the class, the endless anxiety, and tons of things I never want to mention, but this blog is for good things (like puppies + rainbow) only and what I should do is to be a happy me sharing love ,art and silliness on this site. If ur reading this, big hug to you and may the force be with you.

RAM RAM

Last updated: Wednesday, April 23, 2025

Hey bloggy, I did nothing today except use STATA (not going to mention my uni life)!!! Anyway... today's blog topic is about RAM.

RAM by SIR JAMES PAUL MCCARTNEY is one of my best music experience. I have always considered my taste a pophead & indie mixture, however, RAM is another level of any of that with some of his paulliest tracks blowing my mind and changing my ears for good, thanks god (Paul). After I got my RAM yellow vinyl (which is also my first vinyl) last year, I tried so hard to find a nice record player I could afford.

Just want to describe RAM in my very best, I do everything with these tracks... washing dishes, studying, doodling, online shopping, walking....RAM becomes part of my life and the music will always own a special place in me.

I remember Dear boy was my pick on my first listen, also I was quite confused about the too many people vs. how do you sleep thing (Well! It's obvious that victory belongs to hdys because of Georgie's fingerpicking). The interesting thing in RAM is how opinions can change when replaying these tracks! My recent picks will be long haired lady and the back seat of my car. Not to forget monkberry moon delight my special baby, you will always be famous.

RAM is just so good, pure McCartney and nothing like the Beatles (if we forget he IS a Beatle) I highly recommend anyone to give it a try and open the music gate with this marvelous album. I hope my English will be good enough to convey my feelings and thoughts in the future, because there's so many pictures in my head but I am not able to describe them in words...!

I guess this is for today. All my love and respect for dear Paul you are the best (also Linda's beautiful backing voice). I will definitely talk about RAM materials in another blog. ram

dark post comes earlier than I think

Not a peaceful day bloggy.... I felt helpless and tired, not because of heavy tasks or pressure, but because of overthinking. I want to feel creative and do whatever I want, EXPLORING the world, learn something new, try to connect with old friends when I am still young. It's the laziness stopping me from doing these beautiful things and feeling beautiful, and to some degree this blog is a solution for me.

I think the best thing about this blog is how I can create a comfy corner and fill here with music, art ,and love. Also, I have always loved writing in English, I guess it's the language barrier makes this cool since no one cares my grammar/ spelling mistakes at this point, I am free as a bird!! (Beatles reference++). I often type these words in ecstasy and throw myself into this writting session.... imaging this being one of my routines....WOW.

Even though I'm a college student, I don't have many chances to express in English or to embrace this cultural related thing without feelig shame (obviously I love foreign culture more than anything else). There's so many things I can feel shame about.. my identity, appearance, bank account?? Just simply look at my CV and people would feel sorry for me because I am so miserable. Don't even doubt my ability to screw up things!! So I want to be honest and happy on this site(sorry this entry is slightly darker) to gain back confidence and learn to love myself.

Drawing is just my remedy to escape terrible life and people, I am thankful that at least there's something I can rely on when growing up as an adult becomes so hard.

This post is dark, but something has haunted me for a while and I needed to spill this out. NOW I want to sit down and watch rock show. Things will never be okay and that's how life goes, I just have to stop this overthinking and take on the responsibility.

I have heard it's the 30y birthday of some might say , one of my favorite oasis songs..gotta leave the link here!!!! The Knebworth live version is phenomenal, I love the energy so much!! hmmmmm maybe I should find a day to talk about oasis??? They are some influence to me and a beginning to get into the Beatles, also they are a good band (well, technically I will not say this outloud, but they did wake something in people!!!!) Anyway, I need a whole blog entry to talk about oasis.

Today is another ordinary day, class, bus, a good nap.. that kind of things. I went back to Taipei for some reason, and for another reason I have to come back to Hsinchu in a day. Thus, to make this short trip worth it, I went to 地下街 checking cool, new stuffs as I always do. Here's my new ring from MEGATEN/PERSONA featuring 單卡拉比大哥, MY FAVORITE NAKAMA!!!! He is just the sweetest NAKAMA you can have in the game, plus he is SO CUTE.

Aftergetting home, I planned to make a quick draw and finish my homework, however, I was too tired to do any of them, so I went up watching YOU (Netflix) season 5 and lying on my bed scrolling phone. I have seen this before..this is so me.

macca

This is the end of the post, I did this macca drawing yesterday night and I think it's pretty cute..! I couldn't help myself drawing princess or beautiful people.

A busy day! I woke up early for a part-time job about departmental activity. The job is simple but may require some social energy — I had to talk to more people than my average day!!! With a happy me enjoying scandals between friends and some coffee chat things! Also it paid quite well considering the task is so easy (I handed out lunch to teachers and senior students). Although I applied this job for the free lunch, it's always good to meet my classmates and get to know new people. After the activity, I got a star-shaped balloon and tada! another boxed meal + drink. The problem is I have to carry this balloon when riding my motorcycle, so I wore a raincoat and hide this cute thing in front of my belly.

I had plan to meet my juniors at 5:30 PM, therefore, I went home to take my gown + cap so that we can take a picture at the end of the dinner. The dinner went well (YAKINIKU never fails), and it seems like the last chance for me to meet them since I would leave Hsinchu after graduation, so it's a little bit sad but not a big deal.

Today's song recommendation is one after 909 , one of my favorite tracks from the Get Back sessions (though it might be arguable, since I also love I've Got a Feeling so much). This track is a precious piece for people to see the side of their early career phase, it's the combination of wild energy and the technical improvements that always blows my minds. Enjoy the song if you never listen to it, bye!

TOEIC DAY!!!!! I took my third TOEIC exam today and did terribly. Actually, I don't really care about the score because the registration fee is affordable (compared to TOEFL), and I already got my golden certification last time, so there was no pressure today! After my friend and I finished the exam, we bought boxed lunches and tea, simply enjoying an afternoon break. Then I went back to bed and lay there reading fanfic on AO3 — without a doubt, the best retreat you can have in your free time. OH! I also did something meaningful today: I updated my gallery page on this site! It took ages to sort all the pictures!!!!! Even though there may be only a few people visiting the site, I'm still really happy about all the work I've done, and I'll keep doing it.

I am listening to Fleetwood Mac- Save me while typing this entry, it's the best track on Behind the mask. I just love Christine's voice so much; she's my favorite songwriter in Fleetwood Mac. The tenderness, the flourishing dreamy synth-pop, and the raspy rock sound that each member brings make this band so powerful. LOVE THEM. Actually, I was a Fleetwood Mac fan before I became a Beatles fan! I think there's something they share that attracted me at first, even though I haven't figured it out yet. They're both amazing rock'n'roll bands, and definitely worth checking out!!!!!! It would be so much fun to expand on the Fleetwood Mac topic in the future (I'm mostly into the classic lineup). Diving into their lore and exploring their earlier sound will be a homework assignment for me — and I'll take it!

Ordinary day, bruh bruh... bloggy! I got in touch with several people these days — some seniors I haven't met for more than a year! We're planning to arrange a meal together and catch up on the past two years. I'm pretty excited about this idea because we always had such good vibes together, and I really miss that vibe. Also, I contacted one of my seniors (we met at a gathering before), who's a super cool girl — looks like there's going to be another dinner plan next week! I'm actually surprised at how easily I'm reaching out to people these days, since I used to enjoy being alone so much and didn’t really care about socializing for a long time. I guess there must have been some change inside me over the years — now I can understand the value of connections a little more...

Also, I made a persona character tier list an ahour ago, so today's song recommendation is persona- related, Heaven from persona4!! I’m seriously yearning for a remake of Persona 2 and Persona 1, and I sincerely hope ATLUS will give us one someday! Here's my tier list (it's incomplete since I've only played P4 and P5, and I'm currently playing P3).

Backbeat 1994

Last updated: Wednesday, April 30, 2025

I was feeling lazy yesterday, so there was no post. But! I did do something cool — I finally watched Backbeat(1994) and GOD, this film rocks!!!!! I can never get tired of my Beatle boys' Hamburg energy — the songs hit so hard and totally capture the start of their rocket-launching career. Well, the band is more of a side story here — the main focus is on Stuart, Astrid, and John. I loved the acting, but... I kind of got bored with the Stu and John dynamic. I just didn’t find it interesting?? Maybe it’s the storytelling — there’s no spark, no flickering flame between them. (P.S. Garry Bakewell is so McCartney, not just because of the eyebrows and gorgeous looks but the way he hops and dances?? He’s pure MACCA ENERGY. I could write an entire post just about him!!) Though the film isn't flawless, it really gives us a glimpse into the early Beatles days — and as fans, we’re always craving this kind of context. R.I.P. Stuart Sutcliffe... you were a beautiful friend and a fantastic artist. Also, I have to say: the film ending with “John Lennon was shot dead” is haunting. I mean... we know, but I didn’t need to be reminded like that. Anyway, Backbeat (1994) you'll always be iconic when it comes to Beatles biopics. You're precious.

Lately, I've been commuting between Taipei and Hsinchu because of the endless job interviews. Just life being hard and me, accepting the challenge. To cheer myself up, I finally decided to sign up for guitar lessons!!!! My guitar has been crying in the corner for two years, left untouched like a piece of decoration. But not anymore!! Its existence is finally acknowledged LOL, and I’m ready to pick it up and dive into this new hobby. I’m super excited for the practice days ahead! Bye bloggy!!! backbeat

All things must pass

Last updated: Wednesday, May 1, 2025

Everything is alright, I guess. Today's blog is about George Harrison's All things must pass ,which is a highly recommended album when it comes to solo Beatles works. I got my 50th anniversary version online, and the things included in it are super lovable. For example, the cool poster with George standing in a dark room(?) — I pasted it on my bedroom wall so I can see his handsome face every day (smiley). Everything in this album is good af. It totally shows George's mind, and you can understand him as a person through this album. A fun fact about me is that My Sweet Lord was my first solo Beatle song, and Something was my first listen in the Beatles' discography. So George, to some degree, is the one who made me start to notice this band — not as some historical icons, but as a band in a musical way. I do have something toward George, and he will always be a special person to me.

ATMP is too good to pick just one song, but there are definitely some favorites that are worth mentioning. When I was binge-watching Get Back, I loved Wah-Wah soooo much because of the conflict between P & G, plus the tension in the studio — that is pure cinema (need to make a Get Back post someday). And we can never get tired of George writing some of the most beautiful melodies in the world after being pissed off by his bandmates. Okay, finally I am going to talk about what got me into ATMP, which is definitely the Apple Scruffs → Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll) → Awaiting on You All flow. Apple Scruffs is a sweet song dedicated to those fans who have "seen his smiles and touched his tears" for years. The lyrics always melt my heart because of George's tenderness and the cuteness behind his cold, indifferent looks. Next up is Let It Roll, a song that brings some peace to my mind, followed by the cheerful Awaiting on You All. I have thousands of reasons to fall for George, but his wisdom and love are the most precious things to me.

party day

Last updated: Monday, May 5, 2025

I didn’t bring my laptop back, so I haven’t written my weekend blog! But that’s fine — I’m sitting here cozy and want to write down what happened then. As soon as I went home Friday, I took my guitar out from the dusty bag and gave her a nice strum, starting from C and torturing my fingers for a while. God, it felt good playing a string instrument — I missed this so bad. I spent the night reuniting with this beautiful friend, and then came Saturday. I had planned to hang out with my friend on Saturday — we would attend a Brit Rock party! (yeah!) To make the day more memorable, we also went to a flea market in the morning. That flea market was nice. There were many people gathering, trying their best to make good bargains — or simply vibing and having a good time :) I think it’s nice to see the local Taiwanese activity, with cool stuff, junk, and the elderly. Roughly, that’s sweet — but the food is shite so I may not visit there again lol. Since the party began at 1 p.m. and we took the wrong direction on the MRT, we missed Wonderwall! The very best thing we could do was grab a beer and push ourselves into the crowd, getting along with the music and the giggling people (which was lovely). The DJ played tons of Brit Rock. However, I’m still a new listener to the genre, so I could only name a few: The Clash, The Smiths, Snow Patrol, Keane, Blur, Oasis, Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, and Travis. After the DJ show, a Beatles cover band named The Beetoast came on. They played pretty well, and for the first time I truly felt close to the Beatlemania. The whole room filled with rock’n’roll sound, with people bouncing, singing, and twisting — and that’s like the second time I shouted to myself: The Beatles are and will forever be my favorite band. This cover band didn’t only play the classics — they also did some touching songs like And I Love Her, Free as a Bird (they mentioned this was to memorialize Lennon). Also, when the guitar riff of Day Tripper came on, I couldn’t stop myself from screaming because they are THE GOAT. How can anyone not be obsessed with their music? I was truly being brought to the toppermost of the poppermost — just a brilliant experience. After The Beetoast, we had the second round of the DJ show. I think I sprained my neck from nodding to the beat of the drums. But I didn’t really care — this was a goddamn party and I was vibing the goddamn best I could. Several songs were played and I couldn’t remember them all, but we ended with a chorus of Don’t Look Back in Anger. It always brings people together and wakes them up — Oasis never fails :) To sum up, this party was the best thing in the whole damn 2025, and I could never get tired of British rock or anything party-related.

I celebrated Mother’s Day with my family after the show. We had a great time enjoying a buffet, and I got into another practice session when I got home. Sunday? Tada — nothing really matters~~ to me. Because YES, I was playing guitar the whole day, doing a little part of my homework, and eating dinner with my family. It’s so boring and ordinary, but somehow, knowing I’m now into this guitar-playing world excites me!!! My dad and I went for a massage at night to ease our sore necks — the massage girl was so good I screamed like a baby. Thanks to her, I regained control of my body and NOW I am a free man. Here’s the weekend stuff. Stay healthy and get yourself ready to hear my guitar playing!!!!!!!!
